An eviction notice and a Yom Tov that is three days away don't wait for a board meeting. Urgent cases are answered the same week, most of them the same day.

Different families need different things at different moments. These are the channels the money actually moves through.
Rent & eviction relief
One-time grants paid directly to a landlord or management company when a family is facing a marshal's notice, plus help finding longer-term footing.
Tuition assistance
Bridge payments to yeshivos and Bais Yaakovs so a child is never turned away at the door over a balance the parents cannot close this month.
Kimcha d'Pischa & Yom Tov
The Pesach and Yom Tov fund — matzah, meat, wine, clothing for children — distributed in the weeks before each Yom Tov.
Medical & refuah
Deductibles, prescriptions, transportation to treatment, and support for families spending weeks at a hospital instead of at work.
Hachnasas kallah & simchos
Help with a chasuna, a bar mitzvah, or a bris for families who would otherwise have to make the smallest possible simcha, or none.
